If you're here it's because you're interested in knowing more about our Administration Area and all you can do to manage your organization's knowledge with Zapiens.

 

In the left side menu you can navigate, discover and review everything that happens in your Zapiens account. Our left side menu will always be there so you can come back in just one click. When you access the administration area, your first stop will be the "Home" area.

Home


From here you can access two sections:

  1. General statistics: about how much the App is being used, how many users are have been training, how many users are learning or how much Zap is being asked.

  2. Messages: it is a feature that allows you to communicate with people in your organization who are participating in Zapiens. Users receive these messages in the "News" area of the App. Check out our article Create a message

Questions

 

From here you can access two sections:

  1. Question: In Zapiens, we classify the questions in different types to ease their management. There are 4 types of questions: Reported, Without answer, With only one answer and Completed. Remember that if a list has no questions, it will not be shown in the Administration Area. Check out our article Types of questions

  2. Category: In Zapiens the categories are thematic areas that allow you to structure the knowledge of your organization. There are 2 types of categories: Parent Categories and Child Categories. The categories ease Zap’s, our Artificial Intelligence, learning and provide quantitative and qualitative data about the knowledge in your organization. Users

 

From here you can access three sections:

  1. User: In Zapiens, there are 4 types of user roles, that is, permissions to access the tool: Players, Administrators, Theme Administrators and Administrators + Theme Administrators. From here you will be able to access the list of people in your organization in Zapiens. Check out our article Create a user and assign a Role

  2. Segment: In Zapiens, segments allow you to group the members of your organization according to certain characteristics. In knowledge dashboards, segments provide quantitative and qualitative data about the knowledge in your organization. Each segment has associated segment values. Check out our article What a Segment is and how to create it

  3. Roles: In Zapiens you can set access permissions to certain categories or knowledge areas. Only users with that permission will be able to see in the App those categories and their associated knowledge. Check out our article What a Role is and how to create it

Training

 

From here you can access two sections:

  1. Training: A training is a set of questions and answers on one or several topics. Trainings have a limited duration, i.e. they will be active for a certain time. Check out our articles What are Trainings and Create a Training

  2. Knowledge dashboard: it is a set of metrics and filters that will allow you to know the users’ activity, their knowledge and lack of knowledge in the different categories or thematic areas, and their position in the rankings of knowledge, attendance and total.  Check out our article Knowledge Dashboard

Surveys

 

A survey is a set of questions created by your organization to find out your opinions, wishes or evaluations. The answers can be open, where you can write the answer you want, and closed, where you must select the alternative that is closest to your opinion. Check out our article Create a Survey

Badges or Achievements

 

They are virtual prizes that you can get if you train, memorize, ask questions or help your teammates. Each badge or achievement has 3 levels.  Check out our article Badges and how to activate them

Settings

 

You will be able to customize your organization, in terms of the Logo, the Password Security Level, Welcome Email adapted to your needs, enable or disable the App settings and hide personal data in the App or in the Administration Area.  Check out our article Set up my organization
